Location

These are pictures from the woods where I was filming for the opening of Possessed.

First cut feedback

After the first cut was viewed by the class i felt very happy with what i had archived, as there were not a lot of things that i had to change. Some of the point of improvement that i could work on were:

Making one of the demonic images brighter and clearer to the audience. (half way through after the main character falls over)
Mixing the music flow into one another better. (as the main character drives off)

the sound of the film

The music of the film came from a website called Sonyboo.com. I use four different songs that were ok on their own but when i mixed them together it gave the exact feel that i was going for. This website took me hours to find. I searched the internet for ages and then just when i was about to give up hope this website popped up.

DISASTER

After editing the film for about 2-3 hours, adding in the music and sound effects, the film looked amazing, I was extremely happy with the opening and it really made me wan to see the rest of the film. However after I exported it, I realised that I had saved the new files into the wrong place and the computer could not find them. This resulted in the sequence being a red screen saying that the files were not there. After searching for at least an hour I still could not find them, and they are still lost to this day. My fingers are crossed that I will come across them soon; otherwise I will have to edit it all over again. It is very hard to achieve perfection the second time around.

That's a wrap

Finally after the long hours of running through field and woods it is over. We finally wrapped on the 6th of December. The last shots took us the longest to shot, as we had to travel to three different locations just for a 15second sequence. Even though it took a long time and by the end of it Aj was extremely tired muddy and wet, we were both very happy with what we achieved.

Pain is temporary film is forever.

Shooting the pick ups for my film was by far the hardest part of the shooting process. It required Aj to fall down a lot of the time. This continuous action caused her to injure her thigh, however through the pain she continued shooting ad get it her all. This resulted in a very power scene.
